Canada’s current account deficit narrowed by C$4.6 billion to C$0.7 billion in Q4 2025, marking the 14th consecutive quarter in negative territory. The combined goods and services balance recorded a C$3.1 billion deficit, an improvement of C$4.4 billion from Q3. The merchandise trade deficit shrank by C$5.0 billion to C$4.5 billion, while the services surplus declined from C$2.0 billion to C$1.4 billion.
