Greece’s producer price inflation continued to slow in June 2026, signaling easing cost pressures at the factory gate. The Producer Price Index (PPI) rose 8.8% year-over-year in June, down from a 13.5% annual increase in May 2026, according to data updated on 30 July 2026.
Both figures are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing each month to the same month a year earlier. The deceleration from May to June points to a significant moderation in input and wholesale price growth, which, if sustained, could gradually filter through to consumer prices and support a more benign inflation environment in the Greek economy.
