One of the most innovative interior designs was an imitation of the Flavian Amphitheater (Colosseum) presented by the Italian jewellery house Bvlgari. The novelty was exhibited in the installation hall where you could get through a corridor made in the form of a pipe. In this interior, vibrant colors were used with a predominance of orange.

COS company regularly presents its installations in Milan in collaboration with other leading designers. In 2019, guest architect Mamou-Mani created Conifera, the world’s biggest 3D printed installation made from bioplastic. The installation was located in the courtyard of one of the ancient palaces of Milan.

The Moooi brand demonstrated the Party lamps in its More Moooi Moments project. These ceramic wall lights look like funny stylized faces. The lamps are said to resemble the heads of small robots. Among other novelties at the exhibition, one could also see carpets from Scandinavian designers from the Nordic Collection.

A stunning installation with psychedelic theme and images from the 80’s disco was presented by designer Sasha Bikoff and artist Andy Dixon. Originally, it was intended for Versace Fashion House home collection. The interior is made in bright pink and pale green colours. Inspired by Versace collection of fall-winter 1994-1995, Sasha Bikoff created the palms and the carpet under pink “clouds”.

Fashion brand Jil Sander also invited a designer to create interiors. The installation of the Adjacent Field (“Near Field”) on Salone del Mobile was handled by Linda Tegg, an Australian artist, environmentalist, and video performance specialist. In a room, resembling a concrete hangar with fluorescent lamps, she placed a "meadow" of wild grass, cacti, flowers, and mosses.

The French fashion house Louis Vuitton also showed unusual interior novelties at the exhibition. These include a Diamond vase and a Venezia lamp with a braid of leather stripes. Unique minimalistic interior design items were created by Marcel Wanders, a designer from the Netherlands.
