Bunny Museum (USA)

In the American state of California, in Altadena, there is the amazing Bunny Museum. Its history began with gift exchanges between the married couple Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski. The gifts were various toy bunnies. In 1998, the couple organized a museum space where cute fluffy exhibits were displayed. In 2017, the growing collection had to be moved to a separate building in Altadena. Currently, the bunny collection numbers 40,550 items and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

Sock Monkey Museum in Long Grove (USA)

Another unusual museum is dedicated to toy sock monkeys. It is located in the state of Illinois, the US. It was created by husband and wife Arlene and Michael Okun. The collection began in 2006 when the couple bought their first sock monkey. Later, they collected new exhibits at sales and antique shops. Currently, the Okun's collection consists of 2,098 items. The Sock Monkey Museum is currently listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Redner's Rescued Cat Figurine Mewseum (USA)

The next amazing museum, located in the American state of Wisconsin, is the Redner's Rescued Cat Figurine Mewseum. The unusual name of the collection was given due to the figurines of used toy cats that were collected for a long time by spouses Sean Redner and Hillary Siegel-Redner. The collection of rescued cats has grown to 13,000. It includes toys from consignment and antique shops, as well as items donated by museum enthusiasts. The couple donates a part of the proceeds to a local fund that helps animals.

Disgusting Food Museum (Sweden)

The Swedish Disgusting Food Museum, located in Malmo, is rounding out the top 4 collections in the world. Its founder, Samuel West, explained that the goal of such a collection was to look at visually disgusting products from a different perspective. The author of the exotic exhibits invites visitors to explore their food preferences. Among the impressive products on display at the museum are bird's nest soup, ant larvae, fermented shark meat, and cheese made from larvae.
