In July 2025, producer prices in Lithuania experienced a 2.8% year-on-year decline, extending from a revised 2.6% decrease in the previous month. This represents the seventh straight month of falling producer prices, driven by continued cost deflation in manufacturing, which remained steady at -2.6%, and in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply, which fell further to -5.6% from -4.5%. The prices for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities also saw a significant change, dropping by 0.5% after a 2.8% increase in the previous month. Meanwhile, producer inflation saw an uptick for the mining and quarrying sectors, rising to 5.1% from 4.7%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices increased by 0.3% in July, slowing from the 0.5% rise seen in the prior period.
