FX.co ★ Bosnia Retail Sales Moderate in November

Retail sales in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported a 6.8% increase year-on-year in November 2025, continuing a trend of growth for the fourth consecutive month. However, this represents a deceleration from the 9.0% increase observed in October. The slowdown can be attributed primarily to reduced growth in automotive fuel sales, which grew by 6.9% compared to 12.6% in October, and a similar trend in non-food products, which experienced an 8.9% increase, down from 12.7% previously. On the other hand, retail sales of food, beverages, and tobacco showed a positive turnaround, rising by 2.3% after a decline of 0.5% in October. Month-over-month, the retail sector expanded by 1.2% in November, following a more robust 3.4% rise in the preceding month.
