In August 2025, Slovenia's seasonally adjusted business tendency indicator in the manufacturing sector increased to -6, up from -7 in July. This is the highest level observed since March 2023. Current evaluations have shown a slight improvement, with less pessimistic views on overall order books (-24 compared to -25 in July). Expectations for future selling prices have edged higher (1 versus 0), and there is an optimistic outlook on employment trends (2 compared to 0). Nevertheless, there was a downturn in the stocks of finished goods, which are now in negative territory (-1 from 3). Additionally, expectations for production have softened slightly (6 down from 7).
