Denmark's unemployment rate remained stable at 2.6% in September 2025, consistent with the levels observed in the preceding two months, marking its highest point since December 2024. The number of unemployed individuals experienced a slight increase, rising by 0.7 thousand from the month before, reaching a total of 78.1 thousand. In terms of social benefits, recipients of net unemployment benefits also saw a rise of 0.7 thousand, totaling 69.4 thousand, while the number of those receiving cash assistance decreased slightly by 0.1 thousand to 8.7 thousand. Concurrently, the unemployment rate among young job-seekers, aged 16 to 24, remained unchanged at 1.1%.
