Hungary's GDP experienced a year-on-year increase of 0.6% in the third quarter of 2025, according to preliminary estimates. This result fell short of market expectations of a 1% rise but showed acceleration from the previous quarter's 0.1% growth. The quarter witnessed the most robust expansion since the second quarter of 2024, primarily fueled by advancements in the services sector, with significant contributions from information and communication industries. Nonetheless, this positive trend was dampened by a deceleration in industrial and agricultural value-added outputs. On a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter basis, economic activity in Q3 2025 remained flat, following a 0.4% increase in the previous quarter.
