In the third quarter of 2025, Lithuania's economy contracted by 0.2% compared to the previous quarter, according to preliminary estimates. This follows a revised growth of 0.6% in the preceding three months and represents the first contraction since the last quarter of 2023. The downturn was largely attributed to underperformance in the industrial, transport, and storage sectors. Nonetheless, when assessed on an annual basis, Lithuania's GDP increased by 1.7% in Q3 2025, though this is a decline from the revised growth rate of 3.2% recorded in the prior quarter.
