In September 2025, Greece experienced a 1.1% year-on-year decline in producer prices, registering its third straight month of deflation. This decline, however, moderated from a 1.7% decrease seen in August. Energy prices fell at a more gradual rate (-1.9% compared to -3.2% in August), and the price change for non-durable consumer goods came to a standstill after having increased by 0.7% previously. Additionally, prices for durable consumer goods relaxed to a 4.1% increase from 5.3%, while costs for both intermediate goods (1.6%) and capital goods (1.2%) remained stable. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices saw a 0.2% increase in September, recovering from a 0.6% fall in the preceding month.
