The hours are tickling fast and in a little while, we will be approaching the end of the trading week. Well, how are you doing in your trading? I hope you are getting the directions right. My trading has not given me good results so far. But all hope is not lost.
Upcoming Market-mover Macroeconomic Events: The macroeconomic calendar today has some market-mover statistics from the United States of America and Canada. It will be interesting to watch out for the release of the figures as they are known to be good catalysts for the market.
Closed Trades: None.
Active Trades: My previous trades in CRUDE OIL, EURCHF, and USDCHF are all still running, with the most optimistic trade being the buy position in CRUDE OIL. The position currently floats in a little profit of $1.80. I expect the price to advance and hit the resistance of 115.00, with a break of the level exposing the round mark of 116.00. I already set the take profit price at 115.00, but no stop-loss price has been set.
The buy position in the USDCHF currency continues to be the worst of the trades. The trade currently floats in a huge loss of $138.34. Although I expect the United States dollar to regain its strength, the bears on the pair seem so determined to take the price further down. Whatever I have set the stop-loss price at 0.9550 and the take profit price at 1.0000. I expect that the price will go back above parity. Let's see if that happens before the stop loss hits.
The EURCHF buy position is also not going in my favor. Right now, it floats in a loss of $42.64. However, I'm confident that the price will move to the upside in the coming sessions. The stop-loss price has been set at 1.0200 and the take-profit price has been set at 1.0400.
