BTC | Breakdown Opportunity
Trading Priorities: • Direction: Short, watching for a breakdown of rising support near 78000
• Goal: 76753 first, followed by approximately 75000, with 70000 as a broader extension scenario
• Cancel: Price moving above 79267 -
Resistance levels: 79821, 81779
Support levels: 78000, 76753, 75000, 70000 - Bitcoin’s recovery from last week’s sell-off has formed a rising support line, but price remains below
79821, the former horizontal support. The rebound has recovered only part of the sharp decline, leaving my broader selling priority unchanged. The nearest opportunity is a potential break of the rising support around
78000, which would suggest the recovery is losing momentum. If sellers regain control there,
76753 becomes the first downside reference. A sustained break below that level would strengthen the case for a continuation toward
75000.
70000 remains a more distant possibility if broader selling accelerates, rather than an immediate objective. Alternatively, a move above
79267 would cancel this short plan and shift attention back toward overhead resistance. The fundamental backdrop still warrants caution. The Fed’s latest decision kept rates at
3.75–4%, with two officials favouring another increase, leaving further tightening risk unresolved. Meanwhile, Binance has begun restoring withdrawals in phases following its security incident. That is a constructive development, but confidence may take longer to recover. I’m keeping the technical trigger central: renewed selling pressure at the trendline would matter more for this setup than another alarming headline alone.
